With no woman
A dialogue about power, family and rights in the most male-chauvinist country in Europe
Starting from real cases, from experiences gathered in recent years, Flavia Perina, ex-director of the “Secolo d’Italia” and Alessia Mosca, Member of Parliament for the Pd (Partito Democratico), debate the theme of women. Why aren’t women in positions of leadership in Italy? Why does power just graze them?
Why are they a minority unable to gain access to places of power? But they also enter into a debate about the image that Italy gives of women and the image that women have of themselves.
Together with politics, news, information and rights, the theme of the space stolen from and denied women is analyzed by two countercurrent voices.
The two authors, starting from two inevitably diverse political positions, bring different points of view to the dialogue in order to find possible solutions and face reality.
